Derusting, cleaning and degreasing products

Applying a lubricant in good conditions means, most often, prior degreasing. This degreasing operation provides the lubricant with the proper adherence on the surfaces to be treated, while eliminating any residue.
Furthermore, a degreasing agent can also be used before gluing, painting, pickling, etc.

For this, several types of products can be used :

• Non water soluble degreasing agents :
  For a mineral, natural or synthetic base, this most often concerns hydrocarbons. They can be more or less quick-drying according to the needs of the operation. Some products are packed in aerosol cans (temporary manual operations) while others are used in bulk (cans, kegs, drums, containers). This concerns more regular use (cleaning fountain in mechanical workshop, PE).
• Water soluble degreasing agents :
  An entire range of water soluble degreasing agents have been developed. This concerns alkaline products that can be diluted in all proportions in water.
  Their cleaning power, anti-foam properties, multi-purpose use (soft or hard water) and biodegradability are taken into account.
